RX or Scaled ? Which category to choose?
To help you choose your category just answer the following questions:
1) Is your 1RM Power Clean more than 100 kilogram (male) or 70 kilogram (female)?
2) Do you use dumbells of 22.5 kilogram (male) or 15 kilogram (female) or heavier in your workouts?
3) Can you perform 5 or more Toes to Bar and 1 to 3 Muscle Ups per set?
4) Can you do 5 or more Kipping Handstand push ups?
Have you and your buddy answered 3 or 4 questions with YES then the RX is the category for you. If not, then register for the Scaled category.
The Impact Throwdown is about community
With organizing this Impact Throwdown we would like to emphasize community factor of CrossFit, because we believe that CrossFit is not just about running fast, lifting heavy weights, getting tired and breaking records… it’s also about being social, about bonding with your fellow athletes, it’s about community and motivating each other in the gym and beyond. Because when it’s really hard and the shit hits the fan … we leave no one behind! That’s CrossFit! We are in this together!

The story behind our logo
The logo of the Impact Throwdown contains a Hawaiian symbol. To be precise, a tribal shark symbol from Hawaii. Hawaiian tribal designs symbolize religious devotion, rites, bravery, status, ranks and heritage. There are a variety of symbols used in Hawaiian tribal symbols that possess different meanings. As per the fact, sharks resemble a powerful creature and are considered sacred. It is a symbol of protection to the wearer. And protection is what all of us need from time tot time. Whether in real life or in a CrossFit Throwdown. When the going gets tough, you can always count on your (CrossFit) community, friends and family. We are in this together!
